Logic Pro - Can't Delete Tracks

This has happened to me numerous times now.

I've seen videos with people giving Logic Pro low ratings and saying its "glitchy" and I didn't agree.

I absolutely do now!

Seemingly out of nowhere Logic Pro X will stop allowing me to delete a track waveform and the track itself.

Very frustrating and disappointing.

And then the time spent trying to fix this glitch, wasted.

And I know the answer is / project settings, audio, uncheck "automatic track management, naming, bla bla bla."

Well, these boxes are mysteriously checked now, without me checking them.

And when I uncheck them, I still cannot delete tracks in my Logic Pro X projects.

I like working with Logic Pro X, but this is a huge time waster and is becoming hugely disappointing.

So, any suggestions?

Why is this still a glitch in LPX?

How can i correct it?

Very irritating, close to being a deal breaker for me.

Peace.

Sorry to hear. Keep in mind, this is a user forum, from users for users. Apple is not here.

• Make sure no prompt is hidden by a window.

• And please provide clear and useful information in order to help: Computer Model, MacOS, Logic version (silicon-native or rosetta)

And I know the answer is / project settings, audio, uncheck "automatic track management, naming, bla bla bla."

I don't know what you mean, I have always enabled automatic track management without any issues.

If you can't solve your issue, post a screen recording on youtube and provide the link here.
