Subtitles Missing in PIP on Safari After iOS 18 Update

After updating to iOS 18, I've noticed that when I watch movies in a floating window using Safari, the subtitles no longer appear. However, if I watch the same movie directly in Safari without using the floating window, the subtitles are displayed correctly.


This issue started after the iOS 18 update.m (18.0.1 didn't fix it). Is there a way to fix this? 


TLDR: 

Picture in picture (only in safari) no longer shows subtitles. Netflix app pip still shows them. 18.0.1 didn't fix it
