Upgraded to macOS 15.0.0, when connecting to an external display, and typing in the extended display with Chinese input source, the input box shows in main display for the first char, and then it shows where the cursor locates. Check the following 2 pictures. Do you guys have the same issue? Is it a bug in macOS Sequoia?

1) the macOS Sequoia 15.0.1 update just came out.

2) if that does't help, try Safe Mode followed by a normal Restart.
Can you reproduce this error on any of your macOS 15.0.1 devices?
The input source is Chinese - Pinyin - Simplified. It happened only on extended display not the main display

See if updating to macOS 15.0.1 fixes the problem.
Sorry I can not, because I do not have a MacBook Air with an extended display. I only use Logitech keyboards with my desktop Mac mini's using extended displays.
