How do I make my iCloud my primary email for iCloud?

As of now, my Gmail is connected as my primary account for iCloud, and I want to switch it to be my iCloud. However, it refuses to because I have to go to a completely different place to change one little setting. This is so incredibly frustrating and I just want to get this done.
