I missed the 'deadline' from MS that i need to “Update your sign-in technology before September 16th, 2024 to maintain email access” when using a third-party app.
I now can't remove my hotmail accounts off my mac mini to update it as it no longer lets me log in!
I can log in to the hotmail account on my iphone and outlook online but not via my desk top mac mail. What do I need to do to make it work again please?

I tried to remove the account but but as I can’t login or connect anymore it won’t give me the chance to remove them. Is there another way to remove them?
Remove the email account from Mail and re-enter it in Mail and if you are using either Hotmail or Outlook use the Microsoft Exchange option to set it up.
