Unable to download attachments on iCloud web Browser on PC Windows 11

"I use iCloud mail in browser on a windows 10 PC. With the recent update of iCloud, when I receive an email with an attachment, I can see the attachment clip but I cannot open the attachment. On my phone, iPad, or using MS Outlook, it works as it should. But working just in the browser on icloud, I cannot get to the attachment. "

This question was asked in 2022 but I have the exact same problem now on windows 11. I am able to download attachments from my other emaill account, a gmail web browser, so it does not to seem to be Chrome that is the problem. And then on my iphone I am able to download the attachments that I cannot access on iCloud in my briowser? How can I fix this? It only seems to be a fairly recent problem.
