iOS 18 update removed iTunes playlists

Hi all, just upgraded to ios18 this week on my iPhone 12 mini and realised that my iTunes playlists have been deleted. To be clear I never paid for iTunes subscription and my music has been bought either elsewhere or via cdsi had. Songs are there but playlist I’ve created gone with a message stating subscribe to create playlists. What gives?
