More than two external monitors via Thunderbolt dock

I'm trying to confirm that my MacBook Pro M1 Max only supports two external monitors via a Thunderbolt 4 connection to a TB4 dock. I have a Pluggable dock with three outbound TB4 ports (it has DisplayLink, but I'd rather not rely on that), and I have a Studio Display as well as two LG 24" 4K displays. It seems that I can only get two of the three monitors (via the TB ports) to work at the same time. I can connect the third to one of the other ports on my MBP, but I'm trying to get all three going through on cable.
