Authentication needed for icloud drive
Attempting to delete items from my new mac but the option “authentication needed from icloud drive to complete this operation”. What does this mean and how do i fix it?
MacBook Air 15″, macOS 14.3
Is this a new Mac, or a new-to-you Mac?
If this is a new-to-you Mac, was it reset?
If not reset, ask the seller to relinquish ownership:
They can do the most important parts of that ownership transition entirely remotely.
If the Mac is not transitioned to the new owner, there’ll be all sorts of problems.
