Home Videos stored in Apple TV

Hi,

I have a Macbook Pro and I'm getting alerts that my storage is almost full. When looking at the System Information, there is a large volume of home videos. I've never even used Apple TV, so I guess they automatically get synchronized. If I delete the videos from Apple TV, will they also be deleted from my Photos app or are they independent of each other? How do I stop the synchronizing? Thanks!
