Logic 11 event list scrolling issue.

With playback paused, opening event list to modify midi, it immediately quickly scrolls to the end of the selected region. Both catch playheads in main window and piano roll are deselected. It happens on any project on my Mac Studio but not on my older laptop with L11 and projects on that. I've even tried to load projects from the laptop to my studio and problem is still there. Any suggestion welcome.
