iTunes will not play after iOS18.1.0 update

After updating my 15 ProMax i am unable to play anything in my iTunes library. When i hit “play” it holds the “now playing” message for 5 seconds and then the song will show the pause sign. I have shut the phone down and nothing changed. I also tried deleting that app after an Apple rep advised me to do so but after reinstalling i still have the same issue. Has anyone else had this experience? Does anyone have any ideas on what to try next?? TIA!
