Microphone on my iPad stopped working on using certain apps

For some reason the microphone on my i pad stopped working when i used certain apps. They were allowed to use my mic but only the tapping sounds came through for some reason .thought my mic was dirty or something but it works perfectly when i use the camera

how do i fix that :(
