I am working with a university that created a gmail account at their domain. I can access the email account successfully from a browser or using the gmail app. I get a "Configuration Error" when trying to access from my MacOS phone or iPad. Anybody familiar with what configuration error might be causing the problem?
The specific error message is, "Error 400: access_not_configured".

It's a configuration issue with Google Workspace at your university, not an issue on your devices. Talk to your university's IT support department.
