Is it possible to do simple video editing for videos stored on NAS?

Hi folks,

I wonder if there is an app and way to do simple video editing (cuts, crop, and minor color corrections) on videos stored on NAS (Synology) or at least on an external drive, but that would be somewhat cumbersome.

Main editing, when I need something more complicated is done on a desktop computer DaVinci Resolve.

But I want something lighter. I also do not want to download big videos to my iPad, as it has limited storage.

Editing video files "in-place" on an external drive may be impractical. That said, there are many professional-level video editors available for iPad - such as Davinci Resolve for iPad (your existing platform of choice) and Lumafusion:
