Will I lose my iCloud.com address?

I am locked out of my Apple Account (Apple ID). My main email address was created as a secondary email address in that account. I am also unable to log in to iCloud.com to access mail for that address...but I can see it in the Mail app on my Desktop and iPhone.

How connected are my Apple Account and my iCloud email address? If Apple purges locked Apple Accounts, will my email address be gone? I've asked a support advisor by phone and he could not answer this. Getting nervous...
