iTunes metadata not syncing

I recently updated my iphone 14 to IOS 18 and before this whenever i would sync any songs to my iphone it would perfectly sync all the metadata: artist, album etc. but after the ios 18 update only the metadata for genre isn't updating. All other metadata such as artist, album etc. updates correctly. Keep in mind this issue only happens for songs I have synced before the IOS 18 update. any songs that i now sync into my iphone this issue doesn't happen.
