iPhone 16 Pro Max's screen is flickering

Do you know if fix’s it when you are on WiFi.

yes. just disable the 5G (4G only) and the issue is fixed.

tying disable 5G connection (4G only). you'll fix that issue.

I just noticed that my screen is flickering as well this issue needs to be fixed. It’s very irritating to keep seeing flickering.

Im having the same issue. Brand new iPhone 16 pro max.

Im on 18.4.1 so its still there....

This is not acceptable!

i own pro max 16 .

When I go on amazon app , not on amazon via safari , and type in

iubest aling bag for man , or travelon cross body bag , there are some gray bags , and when I am scroling slowly on them , image is cind of flickering.

Anybody else have this issue?

Seems to be software issue. I mostly notice it when just unlocking my phone. In dark environment, maybe something to do with light sensor and sudden change in brightness. Replacement does not seem to be fix issue

Hi, I have the same issue. I went to apple genuis bar to replace my screen. It was confirmed a hardware issue on the screen. The technicians were able to replicate it as well and confirmed Screen Hardware issue. You might want to give it a try for screen replacement.

I had the same issue too! And I too thought it was the screen protector but it got better after the latest update. Screen flickering remains. Should I change screen? Is it really the hardware not the software?

Mine is doing this more frequently now I’ve been into apple and it’s got worse so I’ve been on chat tonight again and I’m going to go in and return the device for a 1200 pound phone it’s not good enough Apple could easily solve this which leads me to think is something they know about and aren’t saying.

I am also experiencing this issue with my 16 pro max. The 18.2 update was run during the activation process of the 16 pro max. Randomly, black and white vertical lines will flash on a portion of the screen for about a second. It doesn’t last long enough to capture. I also think there is some sluggish responsiveness in the touch interface. I only recently upgraded to this model, and I used iOS 18.2 for a few days on my 15 pro max prior to the upgrade and did not see the issue there during that time. As my experience with the new 16 pro max has been exclusively on 18.2, I can’t speak as to how my device would have behaved with previous software versions. I see that several people have had their phones tested and found no hardware issues. Hopefully, a future update will resolve the problem.

Many things are happened with me believe me i just open unbox my phone and I update the software during update phone was stuck on loading screen and it went in recovery mode in short software was crushed and i ran into apple store exactly 2 hours of unboxing they fixed and now im facing screen flickering issues.Apple what is this
