Oticon More interfering with ability to dictate emails on iPhone

Occasionally, one of my Oticon Mores stops transmitting sound. It is still connected because, when I push the button on it, I hear the confirmation beep through the other hearing aid

after several hours it corrects itself

not a battery issue

but, in the interim, there is some Bluetooth issue occurring and I cannot use my iPhone microphone to dictate emails.
