It keeps saying that I don’t have enough storage but I have plenty, I need to backup my photos before selling my phone it’s the only thing I really care about. I don’t know what I’m supposed to do

You buy more icloud storage if it states you don't have enough, doesn't matter if you think you have plenty.
My iCloud Backup fails even though I have enough storage.
