Still no incoming mail sounds, iOS 18.0.1

I have followed suggestions on other threads about not getting incoming mail sounds on iPhone, but none have worked.

I am on iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 18.0.1. Same problem with previous iOS too.

But none of the suggestions under > Mail > Notifications>Customise Notifications have worked.

My 'Send' emails sounds works fine.

On the Notifications page I have Allow Notifications and Lock Screen, Notification Center and Banners active.

Under Customise Notifications under my account Alerts, Sounds and Badges are all active.

Same with Favourite Mailboxes

Same with Thread Notifications.

Remind Me is off.

But I STILL get no notification for an incoming email. Apple, this is REALLY frustrating.
