Just got an email saying to verify my Apple ID otherwise my account with be locked,
the email at the top says Apple ID but then if you click on it the email is m*****@s****mx I’m guessing this is a scam?

The message is a scam attempt. Do not interact with the message or the sender. Delete the email.
