Can’t play movies from Apple TV library on Roku.

I have an Epson LS12000 with a Roku ultra. Everything works except if I tried to play a movie from my Apple TV library. The movie would turn on for a split second and then the screen would go blank with the message “no signal”. I went to Roku settings, display, and changed it to 4k (shutting off the hrd option). Everything works now!
