IMAP wont refresh unless in mail app

Hello everyone,

I have recently bought a domain from godaddy and created a mail account.

I have also followed godaddy's guide on setting up IMAP for mail app (https://www.godaddy.com/help/add-my-professional-email-to-mail-on-iphone-or-ipad-27800).

Every setting is set to refresh like my icloud.com mail but IMAP mail only refreshes when i open and refresh the app manually. I am sure i cant be the only one having this issue, could you help me understand what i am doing wrong? I want mails to drop as an instant notification.
