Play option is missing on certain movies in the Apple TV app after iOS 18 update

Since upgrading to iOS 18 I’ve found the play option is missing on certain movies in the Apple tv app.

it is instead showing the option to buy or rent the movie.

It appears to be any movie that was redeemed using a code received with a disc.

As a work around I can click the 3 dots next to the movie on the list view and play from there.
