iCloud Email Errors on Windows 11 Computers

Starting a few weeks ago, when I click on an email or try to forward an email, iCloud closes down with a brief/quick msg about "unable to read or open". This is now happening on all three of our Windows 11 computers. It does not happen on my iPhone 12. I've updated all system and application software. I've tried various browsers. We're running cabled internet. My husband's iCloud email works just fine on all three computers which makes us feel it's an Apple issue and not a Microsoft one. Ideas anyone?
