IPhone 16 Pro front camera focus

i just got my iphone 16 pro 3 days ago. my back camera is great and everything is fine, other than my front camera. when im in a darker area, the front camera seems to have adjusting issues. itll be blurry for a second until i sit still then it will adjust. but once i move it unfocuses. does anyone know why this would happen?? i have turned my phone off and back on and updated it and it doesnt make a difference.
