All my photos are not appearing in the Photos app on my MacBook

Why photos (all photos in my MacBook pro) not shown in Photos app? It is not always easy to go to each folder to view or use photos when needed, instead having all photos throughout my mac readily available in Photos app will make it faster and easier to access.

I don’t want iCloud to view and strore photos, i have enough storage in my mac but cannot access with in Photos app.

Or am I missing something setting changes? Please help.
