Unable to find the Scoopz app on the App Store

A few hours ago, I was searching for the Scoopz app in the iOS App Store, and I couldn’t find it. Was it taken down? Why? By the way, I live in the United States, and I attached a picture of the app to this post.

I’m having the same problem: the app is on my phone but nothing is posting anymore. I looked it up on the App Store and it’s gone. Does anyone think it will become available again?

The developer can remove the app from the App Store at any time and they do not need to provide an explanation. If you know the name of the developer, then make an attempt to contact them. It could be they were not making enough money and it did not make sense for them to continue paying to have the app distributed or the cost to maintain the app were too great.

The developer can also choose to restrict the app to certain regions where it will no longer be available for you.

My Boyfriend has an iPhone and he downloaded the app like 4 months ago and it’s still on it he still has access to it but when I went on my iPhone 16 to download it to my new phone it don’t show on the app but when I search it on safari it shows on the listed apps for the app store

Correct!

  • App is no longer available to download
  • Previous downloads are not removed from your phone by Apple. They will remain there.
  • The web link to the App Store tells you it is no longer available.
  • The developer has not commented

That is correct. When an app is no longer available in the App Store it cannot be downloaded. Apps are not removed from your device when they don't remain in the App Store, but you will not be able to download it again. Setting up a new device requires the apps to be available in order to download them to the new device.

The app has existed for a while, and the developer's name is Local Ai Inc, I cannot find any information about the company that developed it.

If you can't find information about the developer, that would be a huge red flag. Developers for apps in the App Store must include a Support Link for users to be able to look for assistance.

Apparently you have not read the posts here. Start at page 1 and you will find your answers. It could not be more clear why.
