Frequent disconnect between iPhone & Oticon hearing aids.
Also one aid will connect but not the other! Sometimes ite the R aid…next time its the L

If it's the original battery that's at 86% Maximum Capacity, there's no need for a new one. Apple suggests <80% Maximum Capacity indicates 'degraded' and due for replacement.
Your post's tag line indicates iOS 17. See if updating to the current iOS 18.0.1 helps:

Yes it’s an iPhone 13. Maximum capacity says 86%
Should I invest in a new battery to see if this rectifies the problem?
