How do I move the cells of 1 column in a table down several rows?

I have a two column table. Column A has text in Rows 1 through 22; Column B has text in Rows 1 through 20.

I'd like to shift each cell in Column B down 2 rows, so the text that is now in Row B1, next to A1, is in B3, next to B3 (with Rows A1 and A2 empty).

Is this possible?

Hi SScott,

I think you mean this:

I'd like to shift each cell in Column B down 2 rows, so the text that is now in Row B1, next to A1, is in B3, next to A3 (with Rows B1 and B2 empty).

Select the cells that you want to move.

Click once on the selection and hold. The selected cells will appear to lift off the page.

Drag down.

Note that the cell borders will also move down. You will need to fix the borders around B1 and B2

Regards,

Ian.
