iPhone Mirroring : "iPhone Not Found"

My iPhone 15 is next door from my mac mini about 3 meters away.

When I start iPhone mirroring, it tells me that "iPhone Not Found"

When I bring the iPhone into the same room as my mac mini, iPhone mirroring will then work.

iPhone mirroring, I assume, is meant for situations like these where my iPhone is in a different bedroom nearby and instead of retrieving my iPhone from the next room, I could just fire up iPhone mirroring on my mac mini and use the iPhone instead. What is the whole point of iPhone mirroring if I still need to have my iPhone next to me when firing up iPhone mirroring??

Because it works up close, that seems to indicate a weak Bluetooth connection between the Mac mini and iPhone.

Sadly because the Mac mini's wireless antenna is built into the bottom cover, is not uncommon for it to have weak Bluetooth and Wi-Fi signals with very limited range. The other problem with the Mac mini is, that poorly shielded high speed USB cables, drives, displays and other devices, can cause the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi range to be even shorter.
