Apple cheated to the customers who bought the mac air m3 just few weeks back.

I recently brought the macbook air m3 from apple authorized store here in Nepal. I couldn't afford 16gb variant as it was nearly 30% more the original price of base 8gb 256 gb. I thought it was the best deal i could get as the newer m4 version of macbook air will be launched only on 2025 feb or march. So i went for the 8gb 256. But now apple has taken down the base 256 8gb variant and started selling the 16 256 for the same price.

Now i feel like i got cheated i bought the m3 thinking i will get the good resale value in the future if i could be able to upgrade to higher version mac. I saved for years to be able to buy this macbook. But now the value of my 6 months old mac is near to 0 as no one will buy the base 8 gb if 16 is available. And if we would have known that mac book air are getting 16 gb for the base variant for the same price i would have ofcourse waited. Please help me get justice. I feel apple cheated on their customers.
