Ios 17 native mail app dl limit

Appears to be no setting for this. I cannot control the maximum size email (attachments included) to be automatically downloaded. This is a pretty basic setting that undoubtably every other email application has. You would think the settings for the apps on iPhones would be where they’re supposed to be. In the app. But it appears that only special apps have settings that you can change without switching to another app. It’s very strange to me being a lifelong windows and android user. I’m talking pre Windows 95. So I’m just gonna ask what makes this app so special because for some reason I can only seem to download two pictures out of my email that has six. Each picture is between 2 and 3 MB so that means the limit is 6 MB. Kind of small by today’s standards. I’m getting nicer by the way. How I talk about the lack of control I have over the iPhone and a lack of settings or gross misplacement there of. It’s obvious the overall higher prices for iPhones versus other phones is not for the software. No no no not at all. It is for the strength of the hardware. Now who wants to argue that one? Sorry if I got off topic. That email size setting. Anyone ? Where is it hiding?
