Whenever I boot my 2018 Mac mini with a AMD RX 6800 into bootcamp, I get no picture. I can’t install drivers for the GPU because there is no video output. macOS works differently by whenever I boot into it, I have to unplug and replug my thunderbolt cable into the eGPU housing(Razer Core X). Why is this?

Or why would the separate eGPU not have come with a driver installation disk or other setup instructions?

I got the drivers for windows to work properly, but macOS is still janky.
If I boot into macOS, I get no video output until I log in “blindly”, and then disconnect the thunderbolt cable from the eGPU and plug it back in.
Is there any way to get a video output without disconnecting the eGPU and reconnecting it?

Yeah I think it does.
I am pretty sure that my Mac had three T2 security chip in it so my security should be okay without FileVault.

I'd probably just note the bit about having to plug and replug - especially since I don't reboot that often - and leave Filevault on...but that's just me. You do you.
