Honestly, the best thing to do is to, as much as possible, keep the screen from getting dirty in the first place.
Don't touch the screen. Wash your hands before using your computer. Don't eat while using it. Don't use lotion just before or while using the keyboard. Wipe the keyboard when you're done. This will keep finger oils from building up and transferring to the screen.

I went to Costco and bought a eyeglasses cleaning kit (solution & microfiber cloth) and it works perfectly on my iMac and my eyeglasses.
