iPad is barely charging despite using different chargers

Ipad barely charging

ive had my ipad (10th gen) for upcoming of a year, no issues with it and ive been using the charger that it came with it for 11 months. about 2 weeks ago the charger started to deteriorate, and from about 3 days ago it only charged at an angle and then yesterday it completely stopped working. i borrowed my parents chargers and they didnt work — only when the ipad was dead and when it turned on from being dead it stopped charging. ive bought some off brand chargers and the same thing has happened, i left it on charge for 4 hours with my new chargers and its only got 5%. one of the chargers didnt work even when the ipad was dead and i tried another one in the pack and it worked while it was dead but, like the borrowed one stopped working when the ipad turned on, ive tried changing heads for the chargers, charging plugs and everything, ive tried cleaning the port of my ipad but nothing is working, i dont live remotely close to an apple store and i dont have money to replace anything or spend 30 pounds on an official charger, ive also tried restarting the iPad and charging at different angles

Sorry, but based on your description of the problem, it is likely that your iPad's battery is defective. If it is still under a year old, it may be covered by the Apple One-Year Warranty against manufacturing defects.

As such, I suggest that you contact Apple Support directly for further assistance with this matter. To do so, simply select the "Support" link on the lower left-hand side of this forum's web page. Note that Apple does have a mail-in service for most of their devices.
