Ciao I received the Mac mini and connected to the current ultra wide monitor. I cannot get the resolution I have with my old MacBook Pro (5K 32-9).
Very dissatisfied.

What is the rating of the USB-C to DisplayPort cable that you are currently using...?
Are you connecting the USB-C to DisplayPort cable to one on the Mac mini rear ports...?
I would test a short high speed 8K 1.4 USB-C to DisplayPort cable
for example > https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08B3SB5VC/ref=sspa_dk_detail_6?
or switch to HDMI and test a short high speed 8K 2.1 HDMI to HDMI cable
for example > https://www.amazon.com/8K-HDMI-Cable-Highwings-Braided/dp/B08NX5CZTF/ref=sr_1_3?
Good day, I tried different cables, but at the end , for whatever reason, I disconnected the DP and reconnected and it worked. Sorry for the inconvenience .
