Sharing calendar does not work - no invite comes in

When my son is sharing his calendar me and my wife don't see his calendar and don't get any message, neither as an email or in the calendar app. (Settings in iCloud.com are in app for my wife and in e-mail for me). Sending again or making another calendar doesn't help. My other son has no problem on this; we can see his calendar.
