Apple Watch no longer asks if I’m awake if getting up before sleep schedule

Watch latest 10 version running up to date version. Apple Watch no longer asks if I’m awake if getting up before sleep schedule. It asked twice during the 2 months I’ve had the watch but never again. How come. It’s like it should be picking up on my movements after I get up but isn’t any more. It seems a big deal to have to set next wake up only time if I just get up early only on an irregular basis

Mine may take a few minutes to detect the activity. It >may< learn from prior activity. In other words I’m up multiple times during the night due to age and medications. It never alerts me during my nightly journeys of a few minutes. However, if I’m up making coffee ½ hour before wake time, it’ll ask.

How long are you up? How frequently are you up and how early are you up?

That’s a little odd. If I’m up for 10 minutes or more and an hour before set time, I receive a notification. Have you tried a forced restart of your Watch?

Force Restart Apple Watch - Apple Support

Next step would unpairing the two devices, force restarting both devices and pairing them again.

Unpair and erase your Apple Watch - Apple Support

Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
