Google preventing use of Safari

Google blocking emails and use of Safari on my iMac, iPhone and iPad. Google says emails are a security

issue because my iMac is too old. It is a 2009 iMac 21.5 macOS 10.13.6. I haven't received an OS update since than.

How do I rectify this issue?

Modern security requirements are not supported on older versions of macOS or Windows. A 2009 iMac is now 15 years old macOS is now at 15.1.1. macOS 10 is simply not capable of supporting modern security requirements of companies like Google, even Apple.

To be clear Google does not and cannot block use of Safari. Recent security requirements may require the use of a newer browser though, such as Firefox:

The Brave browser also works with High Sierra:

However, it too is "old" and will no longer be updated.

Certain websites (such as this one) will no longer work with High Sierra's version of Safari, but they continue to work with Brave. I'm using it now.
