Safari 18.1.1 not recognizing recently uploaded m4v files

Video files encoded suing Handbrake in the m4v format uploaded to our web host are no longer recognized using Safari 18.1.1. If we use Firefox or Chrome they are. So we can no longer use Safari for maintaining our websites.

Thanks for you feedback.

The issue may be related to corrupted backup files but these m4v files do play back nominally using Firefox and Brave and Chrome on my M2 Pro Mac mini. However, attempting to access the m4v's for our sites via the web using a phone or tablet using any browser causes the same file not found errors. I think we'll have to re-encode all these affected files which were created using Handbrake.
