Problems with printing of PDF files from Preview Application

I am having major issues with printing of PDF files from the Preview application on my HP Color Laser Jet MFP 179fnw printer. This is happening ever since I upgraded to MacOS Sequoia (currently at 15.1.1). I get a couple of random characters on the first line of single pages, which seem to go on forever, instead of, say, a single page.


Anyone else having this problem?
