Latest ios update product manager - why you do this?

After installing my phone to the latest ios version, I feel like I'm sent down a trip to memory lane back in those days when I was on my android phone with 30 useless customization options that I never used.

I just want to be able to quickly navigate to my cat videos in the Photo app, why do you make me jump through loops to do its? What's the logic behind renaming videos to movies? Filter options? Trips? Wallpaper in the Photo app? Why??

This is so alien to the kind of elegant simplicity that to me is the core of Apple products. Please have a sit down and reevaluate the choices that led you to making this fatal mistake.

And yet if the app remained the same as it was 5 years ago without the ability to view cat videos by simply saying "Siri, show me cat videos", or removing a particular cat from a picture by tapping on it, or by being able to filter a library of many thousand photos into a manageable group, then users would complain that Apple is not being innovative.

To take advantage of the new features in the Photos app, you can find that here:

Product Feedback - Apple

Since major iOS updates happen every year about this time, some users will turn off Automatic Updates and update when they have reviewed the new features that the OS has to offer. If you go this route, make sure to leave Security Updates on, as those will have little impact to the User Interface.
