I plan on buying a iphone 16pm but I have my concerns about battery health. After the 14 the bh degradation got a lot worse. Apple isn't officially ava in my country so no official battery replacement. Do you guys think the bh of the 16s is better than than 14 and 15 and could it last me 3-3.5 years

Given proper care and following Apple recommendations for charging, I believe so. My personal experience with iPhone 14 Pro Max was not entirely satisfactory. I felt on a day to day basis it didn’t last as long as it should have. I’m much happier with my iPhone 16 Pro Max battery on a day to day basis.
How long your battery lasts depends on how much you use your phone. The more often you use it, the more often you need to charge it. That uses capacity. No one here would know your usage habits.
Apple says that the battery for that phone should take about 1,000 cycles to reach 80%.
Biggest issue I’ve met with batteries is heat.
Hot to overheated environments will degrade a battery right fast.
Heat is battery doom.
As for how an individual battery works, that varies.
I’ve had some ipHone and iPad batteries go five or six years just fine.
Others, not so much.
One iPhone I just checked is well over a year old, and is claiming 98%.
