iPhone automatic App Updates not working

I started with an iPhone 6 and am now on a 16 after an upgrade from a 13. Yes I'm on iOS 18.1. Yes automatic updates are on. Cell and WiFi updates are available. Phone has been restarted numerous times. App Store has been deleted and reloaded.

So an App tells me I need to update it to use it. I go into the App Store and there they are as usual. There are 38 App Updates ranging from 50-450 MB. (Yes I have all updates should always occur when an update is over 200 MB.)

Apple why aren't you fixing this after years and who knows how many complaints?
