Face Tune Scam!

Face Tune is charging me for a subscription that I cannot find on the app or through their website, and even their customer service cannot find any subscription linked to my email. Yet I have proof that the money was deducted from my account. I will have to close my account so they can stop charging me, I searched online and it seems so many people are facing this issue. I have emailed them several times and they are sending back automated emails. A company like Apple should really consider which apps to allow in the Apple Store if they are taking money out of peoples pockets for services that don’t seem to exist or that people can’t even cancel. How can we report this and take action??

At any point in the free trial sign-up, did you enter your name and payment card details and CVV/CVC/CID?


If so, that’s a direct subscription. Not a subscription via the App Store.


The App Store does not provide your payment card details to the app vendor.


And again, Report a Problem to Apple in the App Store, and leave a review for others in the App Store.

That would be between you and your payment provider, and then the payment provider and the vendor.


Report your concerns here to your payment provider.


Payment providers can choose to block vendors they deem problematic.


If you have downloaded a related app, you can also leave that app feedback for Apple on the app store web page for the app, as well as leaving a review for others.


Apple is unlikely to become involved in any purchases or payments made directly with the third-party vendor, and which is seemingly the case here. How Apple might (or might not) respond to any particular app feedback and reviews, only Apple knows.


But the discussion with the payment provider is the path to the money involved here.
