den.thed is correct, Kernel Panics can be caused by either hardware or software so troubleshooting what the exact source is can be time consuming and difficult. Common sources of KPs are:

  1. Out of date third party apps, simply keep these up-to-date.
  2. IF your system has a traditional HD attached to it, a failing HD can cause KPs. You have a 2020 iMac which only used SSDs for internal storage however if you have any external HD's attached detach them (eject in Finder) and then physically disconnect the EHDs and test for a few days. If the KPs disappear then it is simply a matter of trial and error to determine which External Hard Disk is the culprit.
  3. Finally, RAM is a common hardware cause. This can be failed or failing RAM, incorrect RAM, unseated RAM. Your iMac has 32GB of RAM, if that was upgraded by you that could be the issue. iMacs are VERY sensitive to using high quality RAM. On these forums you will find experienced users will ONLY recommend OWC (www.macsales.com) or Crucial RAM. Anything else is highly suspect!

Personally I would start with #1 and #3 and go from there until you locate the source.
