I just found my old Macbook and I'm wondering what to do with it. I'm trying to get it to update but it's not.

You can update a MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015) to Monterey.
That's one version later than Big Sur – the version shown in your tag line. Note that Monterey is no longer one of the "most recent three."
