Issue with import of certain PDFs from Files to Notes (“Sometitle” PDFs)

Some PDFs I share to Notes from Files show up perfectly, showing me the PDF with pages I can flip through and draw on with my apple pencil. Their titles stay the same as the titles of the original files in the Files app. Other PDF files show up in notes as a “collapsed version” (not sure exactly the terminology— I’ll include a screenshot) of the file, which means I have to click on them and use the Files app to draw/take notes on the PDF. In addition, the sharing process changes their titles— they show up in the Notes app as “Sometitle” (two separate files, with different titles in the Files app, are doing this now). Does anyone know any reason this might be happening? Is there an issue in the Files or Notes app that is causing this, or is this an individual PDF issue? I’m using an iPad Air 5th gen running IOS 17.6.1.

iPad Air, iPadOS 17

Regarding the collapsed view, tap the "⌄" icon, tap View As and choose Large to display the PDF pages. As to the title issue, I have no idea, sorry.

Please know that you can upgrade iPadOS 17.7.2 if you want to keep using iPadOS 17, or upgrade to iPadOS 18. Your iPad Air 5th generation is compatible with both.
